institution located in Norton, Massachusetts, is looking for a motivated, energetic, passionate, and caring individual to lead our men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs.

The Head Coach prepares the team for a full intercollegiate varsity season. Develop a recruiting plan and evaluate and identify qualified student-athletes. Prepare and manage operating, recruiting, and fundraising budgets. Work with local high schools and clubs to organize and execute pool rentals. Commitment to working and teaching within an environment that embraces the holistic development of the student-athlete. Essential Responsibilities:

Organize and conduct team practices to prepare the team for competition. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally for any regular or post-season events.

Develop and execute a recruiting plan for prospective student-athletes.

Oversee the student-athlete’s academic progress and be available for consultation and support for overall student-athlete well-being.

Create and implement a plan of engagement and communication with alumni and fundraising initiatives.

Serve in an administrative capacity as needed, including but not limited to overseeing fall and spring game management, budget management, full-time and part-time assistant supervision, as well as serving on department and campus-wide committees.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 2-4 years of collegiate coaching experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to work independently

Ability to work evenings and weekends throughout the year to accomplish the tasks necessary for success in this field

Commitment to working and teaching within an environment that embraces the development of students around their education, cultural diversity, mental health awareness, and healthy masculinity

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree

Collegiate swimming or diving experience

3-5 years of head coaching experience preferred

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience.
