Western Colorado University is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Head Men & Women Track & Field Coach. The position reports to the Athletic Director and supervises one full time coach, and any additional fundraised support staff for the Men & Women Track & Field Program.

The incumbent will be responsible for fostering and supporting student-athlete welfare, recruiting highly qualified student-athletes, practice scheduling and competitions, coaching athletes in practice and competitions, maintaining a strong academic environment, supervising coaching staff, maintaining budget, conducting and managing all facets of camps, cultivating alumni, direct involvement working with program-specific fundraising as well as participation in Athletic Department fundraising. Limited other duties may be assigned.

Compensation: Salary range of $60,000-$65,000. This position is eligible for Western’s excellent benefits package including shared premiums for a comprehensive health insurance plan, dental insurance, retirement plan, life insurance, and other insurance options. After one year of employment, Western provides free tuition for dependents enrolled full time in undergraduate programs for up to four years.
