Brescia University in Owensboro KY is searching for Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Qualifications are:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Sports/Recreation or Student Personnel

Administration, Physical Education or another related program preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a basketball coach at the collegiate level

required; more than 1 year of collegiate basketball coaching experience preferred

• Must have valid driver’s license and insurable by Brescia insurance.
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of fund-raising and budgeting practices

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Responsible for the administration and oversight of the men’s varsity and JV teams

including:

o Recruiting within the guidelines established by NAIA and Brescia, scouting,
game and practice preparation, public relations/fundraising activities and
budget operations

• Coordinate and supervise practices, monitor strength and conditioning workouts
• Arrange all team travel plans and transportation; will travel with team including

overnight stays

• Maintain an inventory of team supplies and equipment
• Monitor and advise players on academic progress
