The Head Men's Lacrosse Coach/Coordinator of Athletic Operations is responsible for coaching the men's lacrosse team and responsible for coordinating the operations of home varsity athletic events, inclusive of game/site management duties and coordination, communications with officials/referees and other duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all coaching duties in the role as head coach to include on field instruction, game management, recruiting, conditioning, academic monitoring, assistant coach supervision and sport camp development.
Be knowledgeable and supportive of compliance with policies and regulations of the University, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Atlantic East Conference, and other athletics related organizations to which the University belongs. Know and implement relevant NCAA and Atlantic East Conference policies/regulations.
Be knowledgeable about the annual NCAA Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA).
Represent the Athletic Department and Marywood University in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.
Coordination of the operations of home varsity athletic events: inclusive of game/site management duties (primary site supervisor at fall and winter athletic contests); coordination/scheduling of game/site management duties to other athletic staff; communications with officials/referees; and other duties as assigned.
Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budgets.
Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Bending; Sitting for several hours (at desk, on buses, in bleachers, in car, etc.); Lifting up to 50 lbs. independently; Driving for several hours (recruiting).
WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to work both in groups and in isolation.
Extensive work hours to include nights and weekends plus late evenings, early mornings and some holidays.
Travel is extensive between team competition and recruiting travel.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
