Brescia University in Owensboro KY is searching for Head Coach for the Men’s soccer
program.

Qualifications are:

 Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Sports/Recreation or Student Personnel

Administration, Physical Education or another related program preferred
 3 years of experience administering recreation or soccer program. Coaching

soccer at collegiate level is preferred

 Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by Brescia insurance.
 Effective communication skills
 Knowledge of fund-raising and budgeting practices

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

 Responsible for the administration and oversight of the men’s team including:

o Recruiting within the guidelines established by NAIA and Brescia, scouting,
game and practice preparation, public relations/fundraising activities and
budget operations

 Coordinate and supervise practices, monitor strength and conditioning workouts
 Arrange all team travel plans and transportation; will travel with team including

overnight stays

 Maintain an inventory of team supplies and equipment
 Monitor and advise players on academic progress
