General Function:
Andrew College is seeking a Head Men’s Soccer Coach to administer all areas related to a highly competitive soccer program.
The head men’s soccer coach is responsible for the overall administration, recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, coaching, travel,
and issuing appropriate directions to student/athletes as it relates to academics. The successful candidate must adhere to all
NJCAA Division II, Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association, and Andrew College policies. The Men’s Head Soccer Coach
must understand the dynamics of a small college setting and have the ability to take on several tasks outside the coaching arena

and issuing appropriate directions to student/athletes as it relates to academics. The successful candidate must adhere to all
NJCAA Division II, Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association, and Andrew College policies. The Men’s Head Soccer Coach
must understand the dynamics of a small college setting and have the ability to take on several tasks outside the coaching arena
towards success for the Athletic Department and Andrew College as a whole.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fulfill the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the Andrew College department of athletics as it pertains to the Men’s
Soccer program.

Recruit quality student-athletes

Schedule games and practices in coordination with women’s soccer coach

- Work closely with women’s soccer coach to maximize efficiency of budgetary funds and facilities

- Maintain the soccer field including cutting of grass and all aspects of maintenance

• Develop and supervise practices, game planning, schedule arrangements, and off season training.
  
• Manage Budgets, Fundraising, and additional administrative duties
  

- Maintain high academic standards for student-athletes

• Meet NJCAA and GCAA compliance guidelines and regulations
  Strong disciplined skills and consistency with communication and structure required
  

- Good driving record with ability to drive Andrew College vans and recruiting vehicles

Interact and develop healthy relationships with other Andrew College departments

Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to lift and/or move heavy items. You will also be
  

required to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required

• Must be authorized for unrestricted employment in the United States indefinitely with no immigration sponsorship
  

needed.
