POSITION:        
Head Men’s Soccer Coach

DUTIES:             
The Head Men’s Soccer Coach position is a full-time, 12-month position and reports directly to the Vice President for Student Engagement and Athletics.  The Head Coach must be committed to developing a high caliber, Christ-centered program and is responsible for the overall development of the men’s soccer program, including coaching, sports discipleship, recruiting, contest scheduling, game film breakdown, tape exchange, team statistics, student-athlete mentoring, and marketing. 

The Head Coach must be willing to travel for games and recruiting, which may include evenings and weekends.  The Head Coach must adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of the Athletic Department, ETBU, the NCAA, and the American Southwest Conference and is responsible for encouraging student-athletes in their spiritual, academic, athletic, and social development. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Head Coach must have prior collegiate experience with the game, the rules and regulations. Three years prior coaching experience within the NCAA is preferred.  The Head Coach must be a committed Christian and be active in a local church.

EDUCATION:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required and a master’s degree is preferred.
