Responsible for all aspects of developing/maintaining a competitive men’s tennis program in the Big Sky Conference. This includes, but is not limited to: coaching, recruiting, and counseling student-athletes; managing daily administrative duties of the program; fundraising and public relations; supervising volunteer assistants; and adhering to all rules and regulations of the university, NCAA, and Big Sky Conference. | | Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum three years collegiate coaching/elite coaching/collegiate competition required.
- Demonstrated excellence in professional/interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the total welfare of male student-athletes.
-Demonstrated experience working with diverse student-athletes.
- Demonstrated commitment to developing a successful men’s tennis program both academically and athletically. | | Preferred Qualifications | | | Key Cultural Competencies |

The starting annual salary rate for this position will be between $49,140 and $51,000. The starting salary may be negotiable above this range, however, it will be dependent upon the knowledge, experience, skills, and abilities of the chosen candidate, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. PSU’s excellent benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon Public Universities. |
