The University of Jamestown (NCAA Division II) is seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Head Men’s Volleyball Coach to lead the Jimmie men’s volleyball program. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the program—including coaching, recruiting, student-athlete development, and program administration—while fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, academic success, and personal growth aligned with the university’s Christian mission.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership, organization, supervision, and instruction for the Jimmie men’s volleyball program.
• Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions and related training activities focused on skill development, conditioning, and competitive performance.
• Recruit and retain highly qualified student-athletes who meet the academic and athletic standards of the University of Jamestown.
• Meet recruiting and retention goals while promoting academic success and personal development of student-athletes.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with student-athletes, families, campus partners, and the community.
• Develop and manage the sport operations budget (equipment, travel, meals, uniforms, supplies, etc.).

• Ensure compliance with all NCAA, conference, and University of Jamestown rules, policies, and standards of conduct.
• Provide safe and efficient travel arrangements for competitions.
• Promote Jimmie men’s volleyball within the university and broader community.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Minimum Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in a related field.
• Previous successful coaching experience at the collegiate, club, or high school level (head coaching experience preferred).
• Proven ability to recruit and develop competitive student-athletes.
• Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, training methodologies, and current trends in the sport.
• Demonstrated commitment to academic success and holistic student-athlete development.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Commitment to the Christian mission and values of the University of Jamestown.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
