HEAD MEN’S WATER POLO COACH/PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND WELLNESS INSTRUCTOR , Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation (DAPER)-Intercollegiate Sports, to manage and oversee all facets of the MIT Men’s Water Polo program. Will be responsible for administration and budget management; alumni stewardship; recruiting; scheduling competitions; meet management, including hiring officials; team travel; weekly practice sessions; advising students; and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations. The position will also include teaching responsibilities and instruction in a required physical education and wellness activities program and performing department-wide duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Apply NowREQUIRED: bachelor’s degree, preferably in physical education and wellness or related field; three years’ coaching experience preferably at the college or university level; administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills; and computer proficiency. Appropriate certifications in first aid, CPR, AED, and biohazards are required within thirty days of hire. PREFERRED: master’s degree, preferably in physical education and wellness or related field; experience teaching physical education and wellness activities; and experience recruiting to a highly selective institution desirable.
