General Function:
Andrew College is actively recruiting a full-time head coach to restart its intercollegiate Tennis programs. The successful
candidate will have prior recruiting experience as well as experience with athletic fundraising, alumni relations and community
engagement in addition to previous budgetary management experience. Candidates should have familiarity and working
knowledge of NAIA rules and commitment to a strong compliance culture along with adhering to Andrew College guidelines,
regulations and policies. The selected individual should possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a

commitment to the academic and life skills development of student-athletes. The Head Men & Women’s Tennis Coach must
understand the dynamics of a small college setting and have the ability to take on several tasks outside the coaching arena
towards success for the Athletic Department and Andrew College as a whole.

Strong disciplined skills and consistency with communication and structure required
- Good driving record with ability to drive Andrew College vans and recruiting vehicles
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred. However, consideration will be given to those candidates with an
equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Previous head or assistant collegiate level coaching experience
preferred.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to lift and/or move heavy items. You will also be required to
work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
