Leadership, operation and management of the
MSUM
Soccer Program in accordance with University, Conference and
NCAA
rules, regulations, and policies.
Duties include but are not limited to scheduling, recruiting, practice planning/organizing, budgeting, supervising assistants, public relations, departmental fundraising, and camps.
Teach Courses in the Health and Physical Education Department.
Other Administrative duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of college coaching or 5 years High School or club coaching within the past 8 years with a proven record of success.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and support student-athletes athletically, academically, and socially.
Demonstrated ability to teach physical education skills courses and or basic health courses.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated success working with students of diverse backgrounds including sensitivity to their needs and concerns.
Master’s degree in a related area.
Knowledge of
NCAA
Division II recruiting rules and regulations.
Demonstrated commitment to the philosophy of
NCAA
Division II athletics and student-athlete experience.
Familiarity with the central region and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Ability to fund raise.
