Head Softball Coach

Northwestern College is seeking applicants for the position of head softball coach. Red Raider softball is seeking a candidate who can lead a nationally contending program which won three consecutive GPAC titles from 2023-2025 and hosted back-to-back NAIA regionals in 2024-2025 with an overall record of 212-59 since 2022. Join the excellent Red Raider athletic department that claimed 5 GPAC titles this past year and sent 13 teams to the NAIA postseason.

Responsibilities will include administering and promoting the softball program in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of Northwestern’s athletic department. The head coach will direct practices, recruit athletes, and develop positive relationships with assistant coaches and athletes alike. This position will also involve responsibilities that may include administrative oversight of the indoor Juffer Fieldhouse and additional athletic department duties.

A master’s degree is preferred, but all qualified candidates for the position will be considered. Applicants must possess excellent knowledge of the sport of softball and have experience as a head or assistant softball coach at the college or high school level.
