Research technology and training philosophies to help give SMWC student-athletes a competitive advantage.
Teach basic fitness seminars to the coaches and student-athletes about nutrition, flexibility, and supplementation.
Develop a standard nutrition plan including macro/micronutrients for the student-athletes.
Design introductory-level training videos on how to use Club ’64 equipment properly.
Occasionally attend athletic events to support the student-athletes.
Develop a standard nutrition plan including macro/micronutrients for the student-athletes.
Coach and mentor the club powerlifting team.
Perform other related duties and tasks as appropriately assigned by the Associate Vice President for Athletics.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Demonstrated abilities to work effectively in a small college setting and ability to balance student athlete needs within a student development prospective
Supervision:
Will supervise student-athletes & student workers.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health & Wellness, Kinesiology or related field.
Acceptance to the Master of Leadership Development program at SMWC.
1-2 years of sports performance experience while working with intercollegiate athletic teams.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Valid Driver’s License/State ID.
AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
This position will start on or after July 1, 2025.
