Position Summary
UMD Athletics is seeking a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to develop and maintain a competitive Division II strength and conditioning program in a manner compatible with the department and University philosophy, and in compliance with NCAA, Conference and nationally accepted rules and safety regulations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Instruct and teach student athletes in the fundamentals of technique and safety. Perform administrative responsibilities, including assisting in budget planning and management, scheduling of strength and conditioning interns/student workers and planning and executing maintenance and cleaning of all strength and conditioning equipment and areas. Establish and maintain effective relationships within the athletic department, the University, community, and the public. Represent in a positive fashion the University and its athletic programs in private and public forums. Commit to adhering to all rules and regulations.
