POSITION: Head Strength & Conditioning Coach
DUTIES: The Head Strength & Conditioning Coach will participate in the development of a comprehensive program for the training of student-athletes to maximize their potential for athletic performance and injury prevention. In conjunction with coaches and athletic trainers, the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach will organize and design strength, speed, agility, conditioning and flexibility programs for the student-athletes; maintain safety, hygiene, and efficiency of the weight room; create and supervise schedules and team workouts. Display a positive mental attitude, demonstrate enthusiasm, provide positive energy, communicate effectively and build rapport with student-athletes, coaches and staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
Certification through a nationally accredited strength and conditioning certification program.
3 years of experience in a college athletic department serving as an administrator or coach.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated organization and management ability.
Strong work ethic with a team player’s positive attitude.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Master’s in Kinesiology or closely related field.
Familiarity with NCAA Division II Rules.
First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
Collegiate experience as a strength and conditioning coach to include technique instruction and program design.
