position is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the women's swimming program within the
guidelines and values of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
Our Idea of a Perfect Candidate is someone who has strong knowledge of swimming fundamentals, strategy, and
player development principle; and a commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study and three years of successful coaching experience at the

college level or five years at the high school and/or club level(s).
Preferred Master’s degree in an appropriate field of study and five years of successful coaching
experience at the College level.
This Position Is Responsible For:
Successfully managing within operational budget guidelines.
•
Successful recruitment of quality student-athletes to meet required roster target goals.
• Maintaining an 80% student-athlete retention rate, with the exception of graduating seniors.
• Monitor academic progress of the team to ensure a minimum 3.0 team GPAC is maintained.
•
• Coordinate all media communication and other program information with the Sports Information Director.
• Regular review of the CSM Athletics website for your sport.
• Compile and maintain game statistics/records and keep an accurate historical record of the sport.
• Completion of paperwork and nomination forms in timely manner to specific deadlines.
• Maintain active membership and involvement in appropriate college coaching association.

• Oversight of team operational and fundraising club accounts.
• Develop and supervise swim programs, including youth and adult swim lessons, water aerobics classes.
• Hire, train, and supervise pool staff, including lifeguards, swim and aerobics instructors.
• Oversight of maintenance of pool area.
• Maintain compliance with Nebraska Health and Human Services regulations.

Inventory pool area equipment for repairs, servicing, and replacement.
•
Schedule usage of pool, including rentals; responsible for billing and collecting money.
Encourage, support and promote Boost-Her Club and department or campus related fundraising events.
