Job Description:

Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, has an immediate opening for a fulltime Head Swimming/Diving Coach - Aquatics Coordinator. Siena College is located in Loudonville, NY, which is just two miles north of the state capital.

Coaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administration and organization of the program, planning and conducing practices, evaluation and recruitment of qualified student athletes, monitoring academic progress, coordinating team services with other department support areas, game scheduling, and management of the program's budget. Aquatics coordination duties include, but are not limited to, hire and supervise lifeguard staff, pool rental management, general pool maintenance, and pool scheduling. A working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is also required.

Annual Salary: $58,500.00

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required. Previous coaching experience required. Candidate must possess strong organizational, oral and written communication, and computer skills, extensive recruiting experience, demonstrated commitment to the academic success and graduation of student athletes, and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred. Certifications in CPR and lifeguard training required, CPO preferred. Candidates must possess a valid NYS driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment.

A background screening will be required.
