The Head Track and Field Coach & Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Cross Country is a full-time position responsible for the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes. The position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the track and field program including coaching, recruiting, practice planning and preparation, competition scheduling, fundraising, budgetary management, strength & conditioning, academic monitoring, and other duties as assigned. The Head Track and Field Coach & Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Cross Country is a facilitator for the program scheduling, college and community relations, and the academic achievement of the student-athletes. In addition, the Head Track and Field Coach & Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Cross Country will assist the Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach with the day-to-day operations of the cross-country programs including coaching, recruiting, practice planning and preparation, competition scheduling, fundraising, budgetary management, strength & conditioning, academic monitoring, and other duties as assigned. The position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Operations and SWA.

Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Two years of demonstrated successful coaching experience at the high school or college level. Commitment to attend all scheduled practices and games. Collegiate coaching is preferred. Experience working with diverse populations. Experience contributing to campus diversity efforts.
