Baker University seeks qualified applicants for the Head Track and Field Coach position. The Head Track and Field Coach is responsible for the management, oversight, and development of the men’s and women’s track and field programs. Responsibilities include the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, practice and meet management, budget management, fundraising, supervision and evaluation of student-athletes, administrative support, and reports. The Head Track and Field Coach must comply with all Baker University, Heart Conference, and NAIA procedures and policies. The position will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred); cross country and/or track collegiate coaching experience strongly preferred. Must have a working knowledge of the NAIA, good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, ability to supervise students, competent writing and communication skills, proficiency with computers, and ability to meet deadlines and must maintain confidentiality.
