Position Overview:
The Head Volleyball Coach, under the general supervision of the Dean of Athletics, independently performs and is responsible for running a safe, enthusiastic NAIA volleyball program. This position oversees all aspects of the program, including recruiting, training, competition, budget management, and academic support for student-athletes while fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the court.

Working Conditions:
Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment or working with chemicals, but includes exposure to biological hazards, bacteria, and communicable diseases. Work outside involves considerable exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Frequent conference-wide travel; frequent prolonged and irregular hours. Work performed indoors is generally with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment and athletic facilities.

May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read technical information.

Travel as required by team schedule, as determined by coaching staff, Dean of Athletics, Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC), and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
