As the Head Women’s Basketball Coach one is responsible for all aspects of the women’s basketball program as well as
being committed to the academic mission of the College.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in maintaining an athletics program that is committed to the College’s mission and strategic priorities.
• Assist in raising funds for the athletic department.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with all the College, national association, and conference policies, rules, and regulations.
• Coach women’s basketball team, coaching and teaching the sport of basketball to student-athletes.
• Work with basketball players providing daily planning, organization, and supervision of practices and competitions, and

completing all associated logistics.

• Evaluate, recruit, and retain women's basketball players at Rust College.
• Meet recruitment and retention goals set by the College
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (minimum credential), Master’s Degree preferred. Three to four
years of experience in Athletic Administration is preferred. A proven record of working productively with college-aged
student-athletes.
