Virginia Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a full-time Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Virginia Wesleyan is located in Virginia Beach, VA and sponsors 23 varsity sports teams.
The head coach will direct all aspects of the women’s basketball program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; recruitment of quality student-athletes, coaching games, planning and conducting practices, organizing team travel, monitoring student-athletes’ academic progress, equipment maintenance and purchases, budget management, fundraising and administrative duties required to maintain a competitive women’s basketball program.
Review of applications will begin immediately. This is a 12-month, full-time position with benefits. Qualifications include; minimum of a bachelor’s degree with master’s degree preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. A valid driver’s license is required.
