Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Athletic Director, the Head Basketball Coach will oversee all aspects of the basketball program in accordance with all athletic department, college, and Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) policies and regulations. The head coach will cultivate a culture of success that carries on the tradition of academic and athletic success. Performing all functions and activities in accordance with the guidelines and philosophy set forth in the TCC Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan.

Minimum Qualifications
Conditions of Employment
Make recommendations for the selection of assistant coaches; provide comprehensive training: establish individual duties and responsibility: and provide daily supervision.
Understanding of and commitment to NWAACC intercollegiate rules and regulations.
Availability to attend practice and games.
Punctual with regular attendance.
Awareness of Title IX.

Terms of Employment
This is a seasonal overtime-exempt position contracted on an annual basis. There is a seasonal contract stipend for the basketball coaching position. $8,000 which will be paid during the basketball season. This appointment includes evenings, weekends, and travel assignments. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet the needs of the department. Degrees must be from accredited colleges or universities recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and verified by National Student Clearinghouse. TCC Part-time hourly and student employees including work study students, will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked. Hourly non-student employees may be applicable for comprehensive health care benefits package for you and your dependents includes medical, dental and vision insurance.
