General Statement of Duties: The Head Coach will be responsible for program development, recruitment and retention of student athletes, and coaching the women’s cross country team. The ideal candidate will lead a competitive cross country program and implement training plans that focus on individual and team performance improvement. The ideal candidate will prioritize fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive team culture The candidate must be knowledgeable of, and abide by, all Academy policies, NCAA Division III policies, and conference (MASCAC) requirements. This position requires evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy
• Coaching experience
• Recruiting experience

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of the unique mission of a maritime academy
