Job Description

Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Golf Coach / Club Sports Coordinator. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Associate Director of Athletics, this coach will take on the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Women’s Golf program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Head Women’s Golf Coach will work to fulfill the following responsibilities: coaching student athletes, scheduling practices and competitions, and recruiting. The head coach is responsible for the organization, maintenance and comprehensive planning for the women’s golf program. As Coordinator of Club Sports, the coach will oversee the management of the College’s numerous Club Sports teams, ensuring adherence to campus policies and assisting with such processes as budget requests, safety protocols, and roster management. Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, facility overview, teaching, and / or administration. It is also expected that the Head Women’s Golf Coach will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture. The Head Women’s Golf Coach / Club Sports Coordinator serves the Department of Athletics, Fitness and Recreation in the Division of Student Affairs. This position reports to the Associate Director of Athletics and supports the mission of the College in its focus on student development, outcomes and success. This is a ten (10) month position with benefits that includes morning, evening and weekend responsibilities.
