Responsibilities
Establishing a positive team culture and promoting exceptional student-athlete experiences
Evaluating and recruiting academically qualified and athletically talented student athletes
Organizing and conducting team workouts and competition
Arranging a Division I schedule and team travel
Managing the operating and scholarship budgets
Selecting and managing any assistant coaches
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
At least 3 years of coaching experience
The ability to work effectively with student athletes, colleagues and the campus community.
Thorough understanding of the rules and regulations related to Butler University, the Big East Conference and NCAA Division I
Outstanding verbal communication and leadership skills.
