JOB SUMMARY** :**
Under general supervision, the Head Women's Soccer Coach is responsible for recruiting, coaching and planning for the women's soccer team, contributes to the educational mission of the University by offering direction and instruction in the area of soccer athletics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES** :**
GENERAL DESCRIPTION** :**
% of Time
45% Coach women's soccer student-athletes and supervise the assistant coach, conducting the program under regulations for the university, NCAA and MAAC;
40% Recruit student-athletes for the women's soccer program;
5% Maintain budget and other administrative duties as assigned. Consistently monitor all employees who report to this position and write a minimum of one performance review annually for each employee.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES** :**
ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS** :**
The functions of the position usually performed standing, but do involve some amount of time sitting. Some amount of stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, running, carrying and other movements may be required. Tasks will involve instruction in some fitness activities involving running, walking and lifting. Tasks involving working on a computer keyboard, calculator, involves extensive wrist and hand movements. All individuals are required to be able to perform these movements without significant risk of injury to themselves or others.
