POSITION SUMMARY:
The Head Women’s Soccer Coach will be responsible to direct and oversee a successful soccer program that
is centered around the mission of Toccoa Falls College. The head coach will provide oversight for character
development, student athlete recruitment, athletic excellence, and various administrative functions for the
Women’s Soccer Program and the Athletic Department. The head coach will also assist the athletics program
with other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. This position requires 46 weeks of work that will be
assigned per the Athletic Director.

TASKS:
Coaching Responsibilities

• Providing direction and coordination of the day to day operations of the Women’s Soccer Program.
• Recruit high character and athletically gifted student athletes.
• Work within the budget guidelines set forth by the institution.
• Order and maintain inventory for all women’s soccer equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate all practices and games.
• Oversee all game scheduling for the program.
• Continually monitor the academic progress of all student athletes in the program.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects for team travel.
• Oversee two successful fundraising events per year for the program, and support fundraising events

from the athletic department.

• Comply with all NCCAA policies and guidelines.

Recruiting Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed recruiting goals for the Women’s Soccer program on an annual basis.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Provide help with soccer field maintenance, only when needed.
• Secondary Responsibilities within the Athletics Department include:

o Assist with daily student employment management throughout the year, and game day

management for basketball and baseball seasons.

o Help provide facility upkeep and oversight for the Athletic Center and the TFC Weight

Room.

• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

mission and values of Toccoa Falls College.

Proficiency in:

• written and verbal communication skills, ability to be a team player

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:

• Demonstrate successful coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
• Demonstrate successful recruiting abilities.
• Be able to teach and communicate soccer skills and strategies in practice and games.
• Previous coaching or playing experience at the NCCAA, NAIA, or NCAA level is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds, repeated
stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling as needed.
