, conference and university rules and regulations; direct and coordinate the planning, organizing, and coaching of the Mississippi Valley State University women’s soccer team; provide leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes at Mississippi Valley State University; study, evaluate and implement innovations in soccer strategy and equipment; demonstrate professional integrity. May perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director as deemed necessary to aid in efficient operations of the department.
Bachelor’s degree. Successful
NCAA
Division I soccer coaching experience as a head coach or assistant coach with winning programs. Educational background in Kinesiology,
HPER
, and or sports administration.
Master’s degree. Educational background in Kinesiology,
HPER
, and or sports administration. Competitive experience as intercollegiate soccer coach. Successful head or assistant coaching experience at
NCAA
Division I level. Ability to recruit in high schools and junior colleges, primarily in Mississippi and the surrounding States. Demonstrate administrative and public relations abilities. Concern for academic and athletic preparation of student-athletes. Ability to establish good rapport and working relationships with student-athletes, coaching staff, administration, university personnel and the general public. Demonstrate knowledge and the ability to comply with
NCAA
, conference and university rules and regulations.
