PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
To manage all aspects of an NCAA DIII competitive intercollegiate swim program.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
This is a part-time, head coach position that requires strong organization skills with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Access to confidential student records and confidential donor and budget information. Ability to demonstrate professional coaching competency and knowledge of DIII intercollegiate athletics. Ability to work with college administration, faculty, staff, students, alumni, media, and various external stakeholders in a professional, courteous, and confidential manner.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in Athletic Coaching, Physical Education, Recreation, or associated fields. A minimum of 3 years of university coaching experience requested. CPR, First Aid and AED, certification and successful completion of mandated University training is also required.
