Perform all coaching duties in the role as head coach to include on court instruction, game management, recruiting, conditioning, academic monitoring, assistant coach supervision and sport camp development.
Be knowledgeable and supportive of compliance with policies and regulations of the University, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Atlantic East Conference, and other athletics related organizations to which the University belongs. Know and implement relevant NCAA and Atlantic East Conference policies/regulations.

Be knowledgeable about the annual NCAA Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA).
Represent the Athletic Department and Marywood University in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.
Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budgets. 6. Supervises and manages assistant coaches.

Consistent communication with supervisors to inform of status, incidents and needs.
Attendance at student-athlete seminars, annual coaching/educational clinic, annual orientation sessions and all athletic staff meetings throughout twelve months.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Strong knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Strong collaboration with coaching staff and others through the Athletic Department and University
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
General knowledge of intercollegiate athletics
Prior Coaching experience
Competency with technology resources
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
2+ Years collegiate coaching experience
Recruiting experience
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
FBI, Criminal Background and Child Abuse Clearances
Van certification & Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Bending
Sitting for several hours (at desk, on buses, in bleachers, in car, etc.)
Lifting up to 50 lbs. independently. 4. Driving for several hours (recruiting)
WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to work both in groups and in isolation
Extensive work hours to include nights and weekends plus late evenings, early mornings and some holidays
Travel is extensive between team competition and recruiting travel
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
