Description

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and plan for overall success of UWA women’s volleyball program within the Gulf South Conference and NCAA South Region.
  • Monitor the academic performance of volleyball student-athletes.
  • Develop player skills and provide coaching for student-athletes for specific positions.
  • Plan and manage practice sessions and games.
  • Scout and recruit women’s volleyball student-athletes, coordinating campus visits and the signing of student-athletes.
  • Analyze games and develop strategies to improve team performance.
  • Coordinate the team travel arrangements and logistics.
  • Manage budget operations for the program and fundraise as necessary.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and participate in fundraising and community engagement activities.
  • Organize camps and alumni events to engage the university community.
  • Hire, train, and manage assistant and graduate assistant coaches.
