DSU is seeking a Head Women’s Volleyball Coach/Event & Concessions Supervisor. The Head Women's Volleyball Coach is responsible for a highly competitive women's volleyball program which competes in the North Star Athletic Association and NAIA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: knowing and abiding by all University, NAIA, and North Star Athletic Association rules and regulations; coaching, recruiting, monitoring student athletes' academic progress, budgeting and scheduling, organization, and implementation of practice and game plans.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; OR
o directly related work experience
· Valid ND Driver’s License, or ability to obtain one within the first week of employment
· Experience coaching competitive volleyball teams

• Experience coaching collegiate volleyball teams

DELIVERABLES & OUTCOMES:
· Responsible for administering and overseeing all aspects of the women’s volleyball program.
o Administer effective in-game coaching and managing techniques.
o Organize and implement practice plans and instruction.
o Provide player development.
o Responsible for game day operations.
o Schedule games and practices.
o Provide travel supervision.
o Responsible for budget management.
o Monitor student athletes' academic progress.
o Responsible for media relations.
• Recruit and retain quality student athletes.
o Organize and supervise recruiting visits.
o Maintain regular office hours during the length of the contract.
• Concessions Supervisor and Manager at all DSU Sponsored Events (locations including, but not limited to: Scott Gym, Biesiot Activities Center, and Sanford Sports Complex)
o Coordinate operations along with other Concessions Supervisor(s) which may include ordering products, organizing workers, maintaining appearance of areas, handling customer service issues, and coordinating sales according to policies and procedures.
o Assist where needed in athletic department with all other events, games, and functions.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
· Salary range of $52,000-54,000/annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience

o Possible eligibility to participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program with the US Department of Education.
