Mentor and develop future professionals for the field of exercise science. Teach exercise science students how to succeed in the various fields within Exercise Science. Monitor and coordinate all Human Performance Lab classes, activities, and any studies that may be taking place in that setting. Coordinate set up and proper use of Human Performance Lab Equipment for Lab Classes within Exercise Science or other health areas that need access to the lab (Physical Therapy). Oversee all facets of the Simon Center Athletics Weight Room and all areas of Strength and Conditioning for Athletics (NCAA and Club Levels). Build and facilitate all strength and conditioning programs for Athletics teams and give complete oversight to all student athletes performing strength and conditioning programs in the Simon Athletics Weight Room. Promote student-athlete wellness.

9 Advise with direction of Exercise Science Programs and Class Work
10 Teach various classes as needed within the Exercise Science department.
11 Help with general maintenance of equipment in Simon Center Athletics Weight Room.
12 Complete oversight and maintenance of equipment in Exercise Science Human Performance Lab.
13 Follow all NCAA, GLVC, and other athletics guidelines to aid in development of student athletes.
Required knowledge of various exercise science fields and details that go into performing them at a high level.
Require knowledge of all facets of Strength and Conditioning and how to safely and effectively progress and regress exercise and exercise selection for student athletes.
Ability to demonstrate and teach proper movement of all vast library of exercises with in both the exercise science setting and athletics setting.
Ability to stand in long durations and handle lifting and moving in various directions and environments.
Ability to decipher exercise science literature for practical application.
Master’s Degree in Field of Exercise Science.
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
CPR/AED/First Aid Certified
