POSITION:**  **A 12-month full-time, professional limited staff position is available in Intercollegiate Athletics beginning July 7, 2025, or as soon as possible after July 1, 2025. The working title for this assignment is Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Men¿s & Women¿s Tennis, with an official title in the Assistant Athletic Director (D2/D3) title series.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**  **A bachelor¿s degree is required.  Knowledge of sports is essential, as is a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting. Must have strong moral character, work ethic, leadership, communication skills, and a commitment to athletic excellence within an academic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior Athletics Administration experience and successful playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level. A master¿s degree may be considered an asset.

DUTIES FOR ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR:

1. Serve as a member of the Athletics Administrative team.

DUTIES FOR ASSISTANT ATHLETIC DIRECTOR:

1. Serve as a member of the Athletics Administrative team.
2. Be the Athletics Department liaison to Recreation & Sports Operations for facilities scheduling practices, home events, and camps/clinics; work with their staff on maintenance and improvement needs of practice and competition facilities.
3. Sport oversight ¿ first point of contact for specific Head Coaches assigned to you.
4. Home event site administrator.
5. Oversee camps & clinics, answering camp directors¿ questions to facilitate bringing 3000+ youth to campus annually.
6. Participate in department fundraising and public relations events.
7. Assume other duties as agreed upon by the Director of Athletics.

DUTIES FOR DIRECTOR OF MEN¿S & WOMEN¿S TENNIS:

1. Direct a highly successful program within the guidelines of the University, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), and NCAA Division III.
2. Build the competition schedule.
3. Plan and direct practices, matches, and team events.
4. Recruit and retain qualified student athletes consistent with the University¿s academic standards.
5. Make travel plans for transportation, hotel reservations, and meal orders.
6. Care, inventory, and order equipment for the programs.
7. Promotes men¿s & women¿s tennis programs to students, alumni, and members of the community.
8. Promote program revenue generation related to the program through camps and clinics.
9. Participate in department fundraising and public relations events.
10. Assume other duties as agreed upon by the Director of Athletics.
