The successful candidate supports the Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcast Services, and other station staff, to ensure smooth and consistent day-to-day operations of a federally licensed, university-operated radio station, along with its various sub-units, in the delivery of 24-hour radio programming by the station.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Knowledge of on-air and remote broadcasting processes and procedures
Ability to oversee, coordinate, and support the execution of continuous broadcast schedules on a 24x7 basis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations in Division I Athletics
Knowledge of FCC and other federal, state and local broadcasting regulations
Knowledge of public radio principles, procedures, operations, and standards
Knowledge of public radio organizational structures, workflows, systems, and operating procedures
Ability to supervise and train employees
Skill in operating radio equipment
Experience with standard broadcast equipment and “live assist/automation” systems such as ENCO DAD and MusicMaster, as well as studio & remote production tools (ex. Adobe Audition, Audacity, Hindenburg, Cleanfeed).
High level of reliability and responsibility; ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to exercise superb judgment provided all responsibilities and overall programming goals are carried out diligently and effectively to the satisfaction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Broadcast Services
Ability to adhere to deadlines; timely and effective decision making in situations that require prompt attention, often under stressful conditions
Ability to work effectively and independently in a diverse university environment
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with faculty, administrators, staff, student, and other private and public agencies
