Job Summary
The University of Colorado Boulder Athletics department encourages applications for a Licensed Athletic Clinician! This position will assist the Psychological Health and Performance (PHP) team in the delivery of general psychological services (evaluation, treatment and education) to student-athletes. Additionally, the Licensed Clinician will provide consultation and relevant training to coaches, athletic trainers, academic staff, other athletic department staff and student-athletes within the realm of psychological services and mental performance.
This position will include a portion of their role being spent engaging with athletic department and campus colleagues, as well as our various teams in athletics, developing relationships and programming to support the mental health and mental performance of student-athletes.
Additionally, the Athletics Clinician will have proven dedication, skills and experience in diversity and inclusion programming and clinical expertise in working with traditionally underserved or marginalized populations.
The successful candidate will be detailed, an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and extensive experience working within a team. The ability to navigate sophisticated systems while maintaining confidentiality and composure under pressure is vital in this role.
