Must have proficiency in the fundamentals ofcheer(motion placement, sideline presence, stunting & tumbling) and be able to teach proper techniques to the athletes at the 9th-12th grade level
Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbally & written with athletes, parents and coaches
Experience in leadership roles and experience incheerleading
The head coach's leadership must positively impact the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional development of student-athletes
Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times, including building positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community
Create a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement
Guide student-athletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness to all student-athletes
Incorporate spiritual, service, and fellowship opportunities for your squad to bond together and within the community
Available to practice 2-3 afternoons per week during both specified seasons (August - March)
Able to effectively create and implement organized practice plans for the team
Available for any Home & Away games during weekdays/weekends (August - March)
Available for some summer practices as well as Cheer Camp in the summer
