WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsible for creating and executing digital and social media strategy for Babson Athletics, including designing and executing creative content to drive fan engagement and brand awareness to further the Babson Athletics brand in accordance with the College’s overall publicity strategy.

Apply NowOversee the video production team that is responsible for creating video content for external use and coordinating video projects in support of the athletic department’s strategic goals. Produce provide fresh videos and coverage on a daily/weekly basis.
Responsible for producing live events broadcasts and providing technical support and guidance to live-event streaming for all sports.
Create and implement a campus marketing strategy to help increase student engagement and attendance, as well as enhance the fan experience and game day atmosphere for home contests.
Develop and maintain relationships across campus and implement initiatives to increase student group partnerships at athletic events.
Assist the Athletics Communications Director with game coverage and promotion of Babson Athletics events, including writing game previews, identifying and creating stories, compiling statistics, and organizing communications content.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree.
At least 3-5 years of experience in athletics marketing and communications.
Experience working in athletics video, graphic design, and social media.
Demonstrated video shooting and editing experience.
Working knowledge of live streaming productions, equipment and systems.
Experience in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, InDesign, and other media software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working in a collegiate setting.
Must have the ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and other constituencies.

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Some nights and weekends required.
Working hours may vary.
Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver’s License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College’s insurer’s criteria) or a satisfactory driving record; must successfully complete and pass the College’s vehicle training program within the first 60 days of employment; annual or more frequent review of employee’s driving record based on the College insurer’s criteria; and safety training as required by management.
