The Marketing Associate position supports the athletics marketing team with game-day operations, promotions, and fan engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in sports marketing, event presentation, and customer engagement within a fast-paced athletics environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Game-Day Operations & Promotions
• Run in-game production of selected sports, promotions, contests, giveaways, and on-field/on-court activities.
• Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of marketing and promotional elements at athletic events.
• Support event presentation, including music cues, timing, and fan interaction.

Game-Day Operations & Promotions
• Run in-game production of selected sports, promotions, contests, giveaways, and on-field/on-court activities.
• Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of marketing and promotional elements at athletic events.
• Support event presentation, including music cues, timing, and fan interaction.
Fan Engagement & Outreach
• Lead creative digital content for athletics department.
• Assist with community outreach events, campus activations, and tabling efforts.
Administrative & General Support
• Assist with inventory management of promotional items and marketing equipment.
• Help with signage setup, distribution of giveaways, and promotional displays. Complete additional marketing-related tasks as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
