Northern Illinois University (NIU) ) is accepting applications for the position of Member Services Coordinator for the Recreation Center. This position is a full time 12- month position with benefits.

| Position Summary |
This position provides administrative and front desk support for the division of NIU Recreation Center. This individual must be knowledgeable in the areas of risk management and emergency procedures. This position requires day, evening and/or weekend hours.

| Minimum Required Qualifications (Civil Service) |
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Any one or combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the categories below:
1. College course work in facility management, operations management, or a closely related field, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 60 semester hours or an Associate’s Degree equals one (1) year (12 months)

| Preferred Qualifications (Civil Service) |
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a recreation/fitness- based environment.
- Minimum one-year managerial experience with staff oversight.
- Minimum one year experience processing/approving payroll.
- Experience with recreation software, Fusion as well as Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Current certifications in CRP, First Aid, AED and Blood Borne Pathogens or the ability to obtain certifications prior to start date.
