Job Summary

The Basketball Analyst will serve a secondary role in the research and analysis of Georgia Southern's basketball student-athletes and opponents¿ tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, and trends. The Analyst works independently to analyze film data to assess, evaluate, and identify offensive and defensive patterns as well as prepare summary reports and statistical analyses for the coaches to utilize in teaching, practice, and preparation for competition.

_ This is a 19-hour per week, part-time position. _

Responsibilities

• Assist with opponent and overall game day preparation with assigned position group
• Coordinate video cutups for coaching staff
• Self-Scout Breakdown of Offensive/Defensive Schemes
• Opponent Prep
• Responsible for organization duties at practice and games
• Assist with On-Campus Recruiting as directed by the Recruiting Coach
• Assist in day-to-day operations of the basketball program as directed by the Director of Basketball Operations

• Bachelor's degree

• Any related experience

• Master's degree

Preferred Experience

• Experience and proficiency with Sportscode and FastModel software

Proposed Salary

$19.15 per hour

_ This is a non-exempt position paid on a bi-weekly basis. _
