Summary:
The Men’s Basketball Intern is responsible for assisting the entire coaching staff for a Division I Men’s Basketball program. Handles all aspects of team travel, game-film exchange, office support, database management and assists in recruiting efforts. This position works under general supervision.
Essential Functions:

Assist in the daily management of the Men’s Basketball program to ensure that day-to-day activities run smoothly.Assist in organizing team travel to away competitions and training, purchasing and ordering of equipment, and operation of home contests.
Assist in coordinating recruiting travel by coaches and prospective student-athletes.
Assist the coaching staff in public relation duties in conjunction with broad-based athletic department activities for promotions and fundraising.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in training or experience is required.
Knowledge of NCAA and Patriot League regulations is required.
Experience as a coach and/or collegiate student-athlete in basketball is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and computer proficiency preferred.
Knowledge of ARMS or a similar recruiting software is preferred.
