General Description

Provide assistance with the day-to-day operations of the UM men’s basketball team.

Essential Job Duties

Managerial Operations include but are not limited to the following: PRACTICE DUTIES: (Arrive 15-20 mins before practice time)1. Fill water bottles – ice & water2. Make sure basketballs, pads, etc. are out of the locker room3. Help set up cameras to film practice4. Run clock/shot clock at scorer’s table5, Keep score/stats during certain drills6. Be ready to help with drills if needed7. Wash laundry after practices GAME DUTIES:1. Travel with team to select games2. Set up or operate camera to video games3. Help keep stats during game4. Get out basketballs and any equipment needed for game warmup5. Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

1. Possess a general understanding of the game of basketball.2. Ability to embrace the role of “servant leader” on the basketball team.3. Good work ethic and detail oriented.4. Must be dependable and punctual.
