Summary:

The Club Soccer Head Coach is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the Calvin University Men's Club Soccer program. This includes recruiting, coaching, and developing student-athletes, as well as managing all aspects of the program, including scheduling, travel, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for soccer and a proven track record of success in coaching.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the Calvin University Men's Club Soccer program, including recruiting, coaching, and developing student-athletes

• Schedule and manage all team practices and games

• Travel with the team to away games and tournaments

• Raise funds to support the program

• Represent the program at community events and functions

• Maintain a positive and supportive team environment

• Promote the Calvin University mission and values

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience coaching soccer at the collegiate or club level

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Passion for soccer and a commitment to student-athlete development
