Job Description Summary
Provide support as directed by designated supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Manager
Responsible for laundry, jerseys, and towels being washed and ready for practice, workouts and games
Responsible for folded laundry being in the cabinets and loops should be hung up in respective stall
Responsible for ensuring every player’s skate are sharpended upon request to exact measurements
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, inventory and organization of all items in the locker room and storage unit
Responsible for organizing staff and player sizing for apparel and equipment as needed
Responsible for daily tasks during before during and after practices
Responsible for overseeing loading/unloading of bus for away games and ensuring all supplies, equipment and uniforms are accounted for
Responsible for ordering, receiving delivery and handling of distributing equipment, supplies and apparel
Ensures hallway is prepped and set up with requested items prior to player arrival on game days along with clean up after a weekend series
Ensures game jerseys and socks are washed and dried immediately following the games
Ensures players hockey gitches are washed and dried immediately following the practices and games
Expected to be on the left side of the bench during games ready to assist with equipment malfunctions, towels, waters, broken sticks and other request as seen fit
Expected to dress in a manner that is warm, comfortable and professional during every game.
