Gettysburg College, in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. Gettysburg is an undergraduate liberal arts and sciences college, which enrolls approximately 2,400 primarily residential students. The College is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual who has a strong administrative, collaborative and student-focused background, as well as the communication skills and cross-cultural abilities to maximize their effectiveness with diverse groups of students, colleagues and community members.
The position will be responsible for assisting the Head Men’s Soccer Coach in the areas of coaching, recruiting, academic oversight, practice planning, game planning, field maintenance, alumni engagement, as well as video and computer technology. The position may also serve as the team’s Strength and Conditioning coach. Other duties may be assigned by the Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate they have:
· earned a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred
· one to three years of successful collegiate coaching experience, preferably
NCAA
Division
III
· ability in organizational and instructional aspects of coaching soccer
· ability to recruit and retain student-athletes in the environment of an academically demanding liberal arts institution, with ability to abide by all

III
, Centennial Conference and institutional policies
· proficiency with technology applications applicable to the position
The assistant men’s soccer coach is a twelve (12) month, full-time, administrative appointment through May 2025, with the possibility of it being extended, reporting to the head men’s soccer coach. Salary is commensurate with experience and complemented by an excellent benefits package.
