The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
The primary role of the coach is to be a competitive advisor to the teams leadership. This role includes helping the team with things such as practice planning, creating tournament lineups.
It is expected that the coach attend a majority of practices, as well as a majority of tournaments. It is also expected that the coach be in contact with team leadership outside of practice to plan upcoming events. By doing all this the coach serves as a support system for team leadership, using his game knowledge to provide relevant information on the ultimate frisbee best practices.
Required Skills:
Confident player in all positions on field
Familiar with most common offensive and defensive sets in the sport
Able to see who works well together and create lines of seven based on this
Able to see what each individual needs to work on, and give constructive feedback
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience playing the sport for at least 2+ years
Previous experience as either Captain or Coach for a team is preferred
