General: Responsible for coordinating practices; home and away competitions; and tournaments. Must be able to teach a wide array of participants from beginners to experienced high school and collegiate athletes. Properly instruct fundamentals and technique.
Administrative: The coach will assist club leadership with short and long-term goals and a plan of action for the academic year.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the department, division, and university.

Requirements:
Two years’ experience coaching at the youth, high school, junior college or collegiate club level and be a High School Graduate/GED. Candidates need to effectively communicate with a diverse student population, have demonstrated leadership skills, organizational skills and experience commensurate with coaching at the collegiate club level.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
Hourly wage is commensurate with knowledge, skills and experience. This is a seasonal, hourly, part time position typically from August through May of the following year. Travel is required for tournaments. Practices are typically 2- 3 days per week September through April, with 3-5 tournaments during the season (mainly in Southern California; though some out of state travel will be required). Typical schedule will be 8-20 hours weekly when classes are in session. Expected hiring range of $20-$30 per hour.
